Advancing farmer-centered advocacy, development communication, and social mobilization for Philippine agriculture, environmental stewardship, and community action.

Our Work
Advocacy, Communication, and Mobilization for
Inclusive Development

Advocacy House works at the intersection of communication, policy advocacy, and grassroots engagement. We help bring complex agriculture and environment issues closer to communities, support informed public participation, and strengthen collaboration among farmers, government, civil society, academe, and responsible agriculture stakeholders.

Development Communication and Advocacy Campaigns

We design and implement communication and advocacy campaigns that make agriculture, science, policy, and development issues easier to understand for communities and the public.

Our work supports awareness-building, stakeholder education, and informed participation on issues such as sustainable agriculture, biotechnology, crop protection, environmental stewardship, food security, and community development.

Capacity Building and Social Mobilization

We organize learning sessions, workshops, and community activities that strengthen the capacity of farmers, local leaders, and partner organizations to participate in development efforts.

Our approach combines communication, facilitation, and grassroots organizing to help communities move from awareness to informed action.

Policy Dialogue and Stakeholder Facilitation

We create spaces where farmers, government agencies, experts, industry groups, civil society, and communities can discuss important agriculture, environment, and development issues.

Through forums, consultations, town halls, and multi-stakeholder activities, we help promote informed dialogue, collaboration, and practical solutions.

Farmer and Community Engagement

We design and implement community-based activities that give farmers, rural leaders, and local stakeholders access to relevant information, practical learning, and meaningful participation in programs that affect agriculture, livelihoods, and environmental stewardship.

Through dialogues, consultations, trainings, and field-based engagement, we help ensure that community voices are heard and considered.

Our Initiatives
Working with Communities and Partners for
Sustainable Development

Advocacy House has worked with government agencies, agriculture organizations, and development partners in implementing communication, advocacy, and social mobilization initiatives across the Philippines. Our initiatives support informed communities, stronger partnerships, and practical action for agriculture, environmental stewardship, food security, and community development.

Tayo ang Kalikasan Campaign

Advocacy House developed the concept and action plan for Tayo ang Kalikasan, an environmental advocacy and social mobilization initiative adopted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as a nationwide program. The campaign was designed to build a people’s stewardship movement by mobilizing citizens, communities, government institutions, civil society, and other stakeholders to support environmental protection, responsible natural resource use, and sustainable development.

Biotech for Life Project

Advocacy House implemented Biotech for Life in partnership with the Department of Agriculture Biotechnology Program Office to strengthen public understanding, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement on agricultural biotechnology. The project created platforms for policy dialogue, social media education, media outreach, online information-sharing, and knowledge exchange among farmers, scientists, policymakers, government agencies, media, academe, and agriculture stakeholders.

Who We Are
Our Story, Mission, and Vision

Advocacy House for Grassroots Communication and Development–Asia Inc. is a Philippine non-government organization committed to advancing inclusive, science-informed, and community-centered development. We work with farmers, communities, government agencies, development partners, academe, civil society, and responsible agriculture stakeholders to promote informed participation in issues that affect Philippine agriculture, food security, environmental stewardship, and farming livelihoods.

Founded on the belief that meaningful development begins with people, Advocacy House uses communication, advocacy, and social mobilization to bridge institutions and communities. We help translate complex issues into clear public conversations, create spaces for dialogue, and support programs that empower stakeholders to take part in shaping solutions.

Our work is grounded in collaboration, integrity, and the belief that farmers and communities must be active participants in development, not merely recipients of information.
